Spanish car firm Seat has thrown a curveball into the record books as it and a team of designers have created the world’s first fabric car, made entirely of lace. The Seat Mii by MANGO has undergone a complete fashion makeover as these images show that every inch of the car has been modelled in the fabric, and has even been trimmed with jewels.
The fabric car flaunts a ‘nude’ colour scheme.
The ‘nude’ replica is Seat’s way of portraying the Mii as a youthful and fashionable supermini, and showing off their new MANGO version is proof of that. It is hoped that this will help the car to stand out from its VW Up! and Skoda Citigo brothers by appealing more to a specific demographic. Seat even say it themselves, calling the MANGO’d Mii « the ideal fashion accessory, from catwalk to high street. »
